Salisbury & South Wilts Railway Society

St Ann, this fictitious branch line Terminus was inspired, in part, by photographs of Brentford Dock, London. Originally designed and constructed by the Junior Section of the club, with guidance from the senior members, as a 12ft layout with an integral fiddle yard behind the back scene using a cassette system.  The fiddle yard was later redesigned to include an additional baseboard to the rear, making the cassette system easier to manage.

The period of operation can be from early BR to the present day.

A passenger shuttle service operates between St Ann and the main line.  Freight traffic also uses the line to gain access to the dock and sidings.

Buildings are a mixture of kit and scratch built, the retaining wall sections have been cast in plaster made from our own mould.  Locos and rolling stock are from a variety of well known manufacturers.
